As local, state and federal governments enhance their presence in the community, they increasingly affect businesses, organizations and individuals throughout Tennessee.  Over the years, our Public Law practice group has built strong relationships with these key players across the mid-south region, and our firm has gained the experience necessary to lead clients through the often complex nature surrounding legislative and regulatory policy.  We take a proactive approach to ensure that our clients can make timely decisions regarding conflicting local and state policies.

We advise state and municipal authorities as well as private companies on procedure in matters pertaining to the exercise of public authority pursuant to the federal and state constitution. We also represent clients surrounding a myriad of local governmental issues, including land development, tax incentives, PILOT programs, election law, utility regulations, municipal law, and public housing.
